On raw cutting speed, yes, pine's genuinely softer wood. But resin buildup means stopping periodically to clean the wheel, so the total time on site can end up closer to a hardwood visit than the wood's softness alone would suggest.
Will grinding a pine stump stain the gravel pad next to my barn?
